BONAVISTA AND PORT AUX BASQUES, N.L. – The RCMP laid impaired driving charges against two more individuals in the province on Wednesday, Aug. 1.
Port aux Basques RCMP found a 38-year-old man who had crashed his vehicle into a fence on around 7:20 p.m.
Meanwhile, Bonavista RCMP arrested a 28-year-old man who was allegedly operating a dirt bike while impaired just before midnight.
Both men provided breath samples almost twice the legal limit for alcohol, according to an RCMP release.
They are now facing charges of impaired operation and impaired operation with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in the blood.
The men have court appearances schedule for September.
